Design / Build

Traditionally, remodeling has consisted of homeowners wading through the contractor bid process without a firm plan or design.  Each bid is based solely on a conversation and the contractors’ vision of the project. This method is crude at best, and is not an accurate comparison. Alternatively, a homeowner may have opted to retain several separate parties- a designer, architect, an engineer to create the plans, and multiple tradesmen to complete the project. This method is labor intensive for the client, allows substantial room for miscommunication, and does not promote accountability or cost efficiency. 

CCR allows you to work with only one firm throughout your entire remodeling project. Our team consists of proven professionals whose experience covers all facets of the remodeling industry.  This includes planning, budget, design, layout, engineering, material selection, and construction. From conception to completion, our professionals communicate seamlessly with each other and with you to ensure the highest level of quality while maintaining an efficient timeline and budget. The Planning Process:

1. In Home Consultation:   

During our initial meeting, one of our Certified Remodelers will discuss with you your ideas, objectives, and budget.   We will evaluate the current site conditions and determine the feasibility of the project.

2. Rough Estimate:

After the initial meeting we will  prepare a rough estimate for your project based  on our conversation and visual inspection of the site. This estimate will summarize the overall concept of your project.

3. Design Phase:

Upon approval of the Rough Estimate and a design agreement, we will start the preliminary design.  We will obtain measurements, note traffic patterns, and consult with you on selections. If you wish, our decorating consultants will work with you to assist in the selection of finish materials such as fixtures, cabinetry, floor coverings, and appliances. We will then present preliminary plans for your review.       

4. Construction:

Upon approval of preliminary plans and estimate, construction blueprints, and a complete scope of work will be prepared for your project.  It will include products selected and approved by you or allowances for items yet to be selected. We will also prepare a construction agreement  based on the final drawings and scope of work. The agreement will include the final price, payment schedule, and start/completion dates.
